We will also investigate a clear understanding of sexuality, sexual behaviour, awareness, and sexual exploitation. As teachers, we also need to reflect on our own comfort or discomfort around some of the areas of sexuality education. Finally, we will discuss the important considerations for effective sexuality education.

The aim of this course is to provide Teachers with guidelines on how to deal and communicate with parents when sensitive matters concerning their child arise.
An outline is provided on how to structure and envisage a more formal face-to-face meeting. It also intends to construct a practical way of directing the meeting, finding a practical way of directing the meeting , finding solutions and consolidating this into a written output of the teacher/ parent conversations.
The course also touches on less formal communication and how it can be managed in such a way to not infringe on the Teachers' personal time.
