CPTD-Online is committed to supporting the professional development of South African educators in line with the requirements of the South African Council for Educators Act, 2000 (Act No. 31 of 2000).

By using this website or registering on our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Accreditation & Recognition

  • CPTD-Online is accredited as a SACE service provider under registration numbers PR 13378 and PR 13291 (valid until 11 July 2028).
  • All CPTD points earned through the CPTD-Online platform are automatically submitted on your behalf to the South African Council for Educators (SACE).

2. Associated Role Players

The CPTD-Online platform operates in partnership with:

  • CPTD-Online
  • Ithuthuko Investments (Pty) Ltd
  • Riscofin BlueStar, authorised by Sanlam
  • AVAVA Educational and Development Consultants

3. Sponsored Professional Development

  • Normal access to CPTD-Online is R2,750 excluding VAT  per teacher per year.
  • Many teachers, however, may qualify for Sponsored Professional Development, where access is fully funded through a once-off annual financial wellbeing session with an FSCA-licensed finncial adviser.
  • Sponsored participation is voluntary, obligation-free, and fully compliant with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).

4. Disclaimer

  • CPTD-Online is not a registered Financial Services Provider and does not sell financial products.
  • Sponsored access is made possible via independently licensed professionals.
  • CPTD-Online reserves the right to change access fees, sponsorship opportunities, or platform features at any time.
5. Advice & Compliance Notice
  • Teachers who qualify for sponsored access may be invited to a once-off financial wellbeing session with a licensed financial adviser. These sessions are designed to support your personal, professional, career, and financial wellbeing.
  • If, during the session, you choose to explore your personal financial situation further, this will take place in line with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS Act). Any financial advice offered will follow all legal and regulatory requirements, including proper documentation and your full consent.
